Cobalt has a dedicated team who specialise in the commercial and residential property industries.
Rob has been an active force in the London and Kent property markets. He formally led The Acorn Group from its conception in 1984, to the point at which he sold the business in August 2022 to Leaders Roman Group. Having retained Cobalt’s commercial and residential property portfolios, Rob and his team continue to use their combined expertise to manage and grow its investment income.
Rob Sargent
Rob has been an active force in the London and Kent property markets. Alan has served for nearly 40 years as FD and CFO for a number of private companies. Most notably, sitting on the Board of The Acorn Group and presiding over the company’s growth from one local branch to 40 offices. Alan was instrumental in the emergence of the business as one of the UK's most successful independent residential estate agency groups. Alan specialises in secured and unsecured debt leverage, as well as structuring capital investments and joint ventures.
Alan Cornish

Laura specialises in project management, with specific focus on leading architectural/planning teams and construction management. Laura has been responsible for the delivery of numerous mixed-use developments and takes great pride in the creation of unique interior design solutions. Her aim is always to enhance occupants living and working experience.

Sarah has been Rob’s assistant for almost three decades. She has been fundamental in delivering corporate solutions and strategic organisation during her former role at The Acorn Group. Sarah is adept at supporting the company’s directors at high level, and ensures continuity and momentum is maintained in all Cobalt business activities.

Miranda is tasked with creating flexible property management strategies for Cobalt’s commercial and residential portfolios. Her primary responsibility is to ensure financial gain through long term property ownership. Miranda provides a first class working relationship with the occupants of Cobalt’s properties.

Sarah started her career in property management almost 30 years ago. She is passionate about customer service and the provision of adaptive administrative functions that ensure the smooth running of the business. Sarah’s priority is cost control and ensuring funding is delivered on time.

Jennifer is a specialist in-house property accountant working closely with Alan and Rob to provide day to day fiscal control. Her expertise lies in the use of money over time, to ensure maximisation of Cobalt’s return on investment and capital deployed.
